Following the death of her coach, to whom she was very close, Yseult, a transgender boxer, grows closer to his family. But the young woman harbours a dark secret which, if she were to reveal it, would turn everything upside down.
A heart still beating explores themes of grief, identity and obsession, told like a reverse-chronological puzzle. The film shifts from drama to psychological thriller through a fragmented narrative structure and a series of gradual revelations.
